Kaitlyn Johnson is a Program Specialist with Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Eastern Shore, where she connects youth with caring adult mentors across Wicomico and Worcester Counties. She facilitates 4–5 new matches each month and has recently expanded to Worcester County, where several young people in the Ocean Pines area are currently waiting to be matched. Kaitlyn will speak about the impact of mentorship and how you can make a meaningful difference in a child’s life.

Gloria Dietz, Certified Yoga Teacher (CYT200) with Glo with the Flow Yoga, will speak about how yoga can transform your mind, body and spirit. Rhonda H. Davis, APRN, CNP, is an Adult/Gerontology Nurse Practitioner at the Pearl Clinic with over 30 years of clinical experience. She holds degrees in Nutrition/Dietetics from Bowling Green State University and Nursing from Johns Hopkins University. We are pleased to welcome Jerrona Smith, Regional Director for Lower Shore CASA. Jerrona holds an MBA in Organizational Leadership from Wilmington University and a Bachelor of Science in Human Services Management from the University of Phoenix. Introduced to CASA in 2004, she has since served as a volunteer, staff support, director, and now leads efforts on the Lower Shore. Lower Shore CASA advocates for children involved in the court system due to abuse or neglect, ensuring each has a voice, a volunteer, and a path toward a safe, permanent home.

Our speaker will be Cindy Dillon, Executive Committee member and Zero Waste Lead of the Lower Eastern Shore Group of the Maryland Sierra Club. The Sierra Club is America’s oldest, largest and most influential grassroots environmental organization. She also represents the Group on the Maryland Bottle Bill Coalition.
Cindy will present on the Group’s promotion of the Maryland Bottle Bill, a deposit return system with the goal of decreasing litter and plastic pollution, resulting in a cleaner, healthier environment on the Eastern Shore and in all of Maryland.
